In Chechnya, military financiers not only provide monetary allowances for federal troops. Multi-million dollar allocations from the state budget pass through their hands to pay pensions, allowances, wages to the local population, finance the social sphere, construction and rehabilitation works.

Performing this task, which is not typical for military financiers, is often associated with a great risk to life. It is far from easy to deliver millions of rubles from the Mainland, ensuring their safety. It happens that they have to fight off predatory attacks of militants with weapons in their hands. So, in particular, for their courage and dedication, finance officers Yuri Yefimov, Igor Popov and Mikhail Solntsev were awarded military awards.
