A person becomes completely powerless when faced with an unexpected crisis. The purpose of this study is to identify the problems of adaptation processes of children and their parents during an emergency situation associated with isolation. The study took place on the Facebook social network, as it was not possible to carry out an open type of study due to the conditions of isolation. To obtain the data, a questionnaire method was used. The quantitative analysis was carried out with the use of the Google Forms web platform. The survey involved residents from such countries as Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, Belarus, England, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Turkey, Egypt, France, Kazakhstan, Israel, Sweden, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Austria, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, and Italy. The study is aimed at identifying psychoemotional and behavioural aspects in children and their parents. It was established that the emergency and isolation affected the adaptive processes of children and their parents. This study will be useful for specialists in the field of psychology.
